Banana Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten eggs.
    Add sifted dry ingredients, alternating with milk, bananas and vanilla.
    Fill greased muffin tins 1/2 full.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes. This may be baked in two 8-inch layer pans at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
