1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. melted butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix sugar, butter, egg and vanilla.
Stir in flour, cinnamon, soda, salt and nuts. Shape dough into 2 rectangles (5 x 3 x 1 1/2-inch). Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Slice into 1/8-inch slices.
Place about 2-inches apart.
Bake 6 to 8 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Cool, then glaze.
