Ingredients

2 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
Preparation

Mix flour, salt and baking soda; set aside.
Mix butter and peanut butter, then add both kinds of sugar.
Mix well together with eggs.
Stir flour mixture into peanut butter mixture.
Drop dough from a spoon onto cookie sheet; flatten with a fork.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
For a softer cookie, bake only for about 8 minutes (they will be only starting to set up, but will firm as they cool).
Let cool and store in an airtight container. Makes 4 to 5 dozen cookies.
