Ingredients

1 c. peanut butter
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a large mixer bowl, cream peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Add eggs and continue to mix.
Add dry ingredients to mixture.
Knead until ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Flatten in crisscross fashion with
a fork.
Bake 15 minutes.
Yields 6 dozen.
