German Cold Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 medium onion, cut up
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Shred cabbage.
    Combine cabbage, onion and sugar.
    Let stand for 1 hour.
    Mix remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Pour over cabbage mixture; cool.
    Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
