Ingredients

1 c. packed brown sugar (light brown)
3 Tbsp. evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. orange peel, grated
2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and milk.
Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage.
Stir occasionally.
Add butter and orange peel.
Stir to blend; add pecan halves.
Stir until all are coated.
Spread pecans on greased cookie sheet.
When coating is firm, gently break pecans apart.
Store in container.
