Dutch Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter, creamed
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat sugar and butter together until creamed.
    Add flour, two tablespoons at a time.
    When blended, add water in which baking soda and vanilla have been dissolved.
    Form dough into a roll and wrap with waxed paper.
    Place in the refrigerator overnight or for 6 to 8 hours.
    When dough is solid, cut into 1/4-inch slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheet an inch apart and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
