Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 to 4 bananas, mashed
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Heavily grease a large loaf pan.
    In a mixer bowl, cream shortening and sugar thoroughly with a mixer. Add eggs and bananas.
    In another bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and blend well, then add to the banana mixture.
    Mix well.
    If a little thick, add milk.
    Pour into prepared pan.
    Bake in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted in top comes out clean.
    Makes 1 loaf.
