Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. white sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    1 can evaporated milk
    pinch of salt
    12 oz. chocolate bits
    5 Hershey bars
    7 oz. jar marshmallow cream
    2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Put sugar, butter, milk and salt in large heavy pan.
    Bring to rolling boil for 9 minutes.
    Take off heat and add chocolate bits, bars, marshmallow cream and nuts (one item at a time).
    Stir continually until mixture starts to set up.
    Pour into a buttered 9 x 13 pan.
    Cool; cover and store in refrigerator.
