Mashed Potato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mashed potatoes (leftover potatoes)
    1 egg
    seasoning
    Crisco for pan frying
Preparation
    Mix potatoes and slightly beaten egg together.
    Season to taste.
    Shape into round flat cakes about 3/4-inch thick.
    Melt enough Crisco into heavy frying pan to cover the bottom well. When hot, put cake in and brown on one side.
    Turn with spatula and brown cakes on the other side.
