Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. finely chopped dates
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in bowl.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
Stir in coconut, dates, raisins and nuts.
Chill for 1 hour.
Shape into balls. Place 1/2 inch apart on greased cookie sheet.
Flatten.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Makes 2 to 3 dozen cookies.
