Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter or margarine
    1 lb. box brown sugar
    2 eggs
    4 to 5 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix in the order given.
    Mix well.
    Separate into 4 sections. Roll into the shape of a cylinder.
    Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate or freeze as needed.
    The cylinders can be frozen for 6 months.
    Slice into 1/4-inch slices.
    Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until brown.
