Honey Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast (dry)
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. honey
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    4 c. flour
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
    Scald the milk, then add the honey and salt.
    Add the egg and 1 cup flour and beat well.
    Mix in the shortening, pecans and the remaining flour to make a soft dough.
    Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl.
    Grease the top of the dough, cover it and let it rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
    Punch down, knead and mold the dough into 2 loaves.
    Put dough into 2 well-greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
