Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. soda (put in milk)
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar (put in flour)
4 c. flour or more
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Blend sugar and shortening. Add eggs and buttermilk with soda in.
Add remaining ingredients and drop on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with white sugar or colored sugars for holidays.
Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 until done in center.
