Onion Cheese Supper Bread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. biscuit mix (Bisquick)
1 c. sharp cheese, grated
2 Tbsp. oil
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. parsley, dried or snipped fresh
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Cook onion in hot oil just until tender. Combine egg and milk. Add to biscuit mix. Stir until moistened. Add onion, half of cheese and parsley. Spread dough in greased round cake pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and parsley. Drizzle butter over this. Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Makes about 6 servings.
