Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
3/4 c. Wesson oil
1 Tbsp. vanilla
self-rising flour
Preparation

Mix sugar and buttermilk.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add Wesson oil and vanilla.
In a large bowl, sift flour like you would for biscuits.
Make hole in center of flour and pour part of liquid mixture in hole.
Mix like making biscuits, working in flour.
Add more liquid until you have used all the liquid.
Squeeze off small amount and roll out on floured board or wax paper to desired thickness and cut.
Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly brown.
Liquid mixture can be refrigerated and used later.
