Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. rice (not Minute rice)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Wash rice and combine all ingredients except vanilla in a large pan.
    Bring to a boil until foam on top (white).
    Cut heat to low. Cover pan and cook for approximately 1 hour, stirring often.
    After rice is done, add vanilla.
