Ingredients

1 1/2 c. old fashion oatmeal
1 stick oleo margarine
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place oatmeal in a mixing bowl; melt margarine and pour over oats.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Mix the dry ingredients with the oats.
Beat egg and add vanilla to egg.
Blend with the oats.
Add pecans.
Cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil and drop cookies by 1/2 teaspoonful.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 11 minutes.
Cool before removing from foil.
