Holiday Cheese Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    4 1/2 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (original flavor)
Preparation
    Let cheeses come to room temperature.
    Mix gradually with dressing mix.
    Mixture will be sticky. Shape into ball.
    (Since mixture is sticky, I use plastic bags on my hands to roll.) Roll in chopped pecans, if desired. This makes a large ball and I sometimes make two smaller balls.
    Place in refrigerator until serving time.
    Serve with crackers.
