Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. white water ground cornmeal
2 c. boiling water
3/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. butter
1 c. whole milk
4 eggs
Preparation

Use a large casserole.
Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Slowly pour cornmeal into boiling water, stirring all the time, until mixture is thick and smooth. Add salt and butter (cut into chunks) and stir until mixture is thick and smooth.
