Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. mashed banana
1/4 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar well.
Add egg; beat thoroughly. Add banana and buttermilk.
Sift together dry ingredients and add, then add nuts.
Bake in greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until well done.
