Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter or margarine, softened
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven.
Grease cookie sheets.
Sift together flour, baking soda and cream of tartar on wax paper.
Set mixture aside.
