Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. pureed pulp
    2 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 c. walnuts
    1 c. raisins
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. each cloves and nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine
    shortening, sugar and egg.
    Cream these ingredients. Put
    baking
    soda
    in pulp and set.
    Add pulp to mixture.
    Add raisins and nuts to flour mixture.\tCombine all and drop
    by teaspoon
    onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
