Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Cream sugar and margarine.
Add eggs, lemon peel, lemon juice and
vanilla.
Add\tsalt,
soda
and
cream of tartar to flour. Chill dough for 1 hour.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool 2 minutes before removing from sheet.
