Chocolate Sundae Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 unbeaten egg
    1/4 c. maraschino cherry juice
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 sq. melted unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Set aside.
    Cream brown sugar and Crisco, creaming well.
    Blend in unbeaten egg.
    Stir in half the dry ingredients.
    All the 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice and 2 tablespoons milk, then stir in remaining dry ingredients and mix well.
    Blend in 2 squares melted chocolate, walnuts and maraschino cherries.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cut large marshmallows in half.
    Place cut side down on hot cookies.
    Cool on rack.
    Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
