Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. coconut
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. rolled oats
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together and roll into balls.
Place on cookie sheet and press with fork.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
