Granny Simonson'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
    4 carrots, peeled and diced
    2 large onions, peeled and washed
    3 celery stalks, peeled and diced
    4 crisp slices bacon (you can use ham)
    1 tsp. sweet basil
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. thyme
    2 tsp. parsley
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Simmer for 1 hour until all vegetables have cooked well done. Add water while cooking for the broth.
