Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa (optional)
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients in skillet.
Bring to a full boil. Boil for 2 full minutes.
Remove from heat.
Quickly add peanut butter, oats, nuts and vanilla; stirring fast.
When completely mixed, drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.
Let cool at room temperature.
