Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. vegetable shortening
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation
    Cream together butter, shortening, brown sugar, and white sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla, beat until light and fluffy.
    Sift together flour, salt, and soda, into creamed mixture.
    Add chocolate morsels.
    Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cookies are brown around the edge, but the centers are not done.
    Yields 96 cookies.
