Grandmom Mclaughlin'S Scone(Aka Irish Soda Bread) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. raisins (optional)
    1 3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients.
    Crumble with margarine (stir together to mix margarine; will make small clumps of flour coated margarine).
    Add buttermilk, raisins and caraway seed.
    Mix. Mixture will be sticky.
    Flour hands or mixing spoon.
    Grease and flour lightly a black iron frying pan or thick aluminum pan.
    Put in mixture, spread into pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
