Chocolate Brandy Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 lb. ground almonds
    1/2 lb. sweet German chocolate
    4 eggs
    5 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. peach or apricot brandy
Preparation
    Grate chocolate fine; set aside.
    In a very large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, almonds, grated chocolate and brandy. Sift together flour and baking powder.
    Add flour to liquid mixture, one cup at a time.
    Mix thoroughly after each addition. Dough will be stiff.
    For easier rolling, refrigerate dough.
