Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. orange juice
1 Tbsp. orange rind (fresh or bottled)
1 Tbsp. shortening, melted
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
2 c. chopped fresh cranberries
Preparation

Sift together all dry ingredients.
Combine juice, orange rind and shortening; stir in egg.
Pour into dry mixture.
Mix enough to combine.
Fold in cranberries and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
