Dilly Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion or 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. dill seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 unbeaten egg
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Combine remaining ingredients
    in a large bowl. Add yeast mixture;
    stir
    until
    moist dough is formed. Allow to rise (about 1 hour
    in
    warm
    place) until doubled. Put 1/2 cup flour on clean
    surface
    and
    knead dough. Put
    into
    a large oiled casserole.
    Let
    rise
    until doubled, approximately 1/2 hour. Bake at 350\u00b0 for
    40
    to
    50 minutes. While hot, brush with melted
    butter
    and
    sprinkle with salt. Serve warm.
