Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Fold in well-beaten eggs and beat entire mixture. Sift flour, soda and salt and add to creamed mixture.
Stir in chopped nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by small spoonful on greased baking sheets.
Bake in oven at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
