Ingredients

3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. flour
Preparation

Cut butter into small bits; add vanilla and almond extract and mix.
Add cornstarch, sugar and flour.
Mix with spoon until combined.
Make balls with 1 tablespoon of dough.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Make a dent in each cookie with your thumb. Put a little jam into each dent.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Cool on racks.
