Ingredients

2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat egg whites until foamy.
Gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks can be made.
Add salt and mix in.
Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
Place aluminum foil on cookie sheet.
Drop dough by teaspoon on ungreased foil.
Place cookies in oven.
Close oven door. Immediately turn oven off.
Leave cookies in closed oven overnight.
Peel cookies off foil in the morning.
Makes 2 to 2 1/2 dozen.
