Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or 1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1/4 c. chipped nuts
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    2 eggs
    3 ripe bananas crushed with a fork
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time.
    Add dry ingredients then bananas and nuts.
    Put in a lightly greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake in moderate oven for 40-60 minutes.
    Test with toothpick-when toothpick comes out clean, bread is done.
