Frozen Biscuits(From Friend Vivian Ballard, Amarillo, Texas) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 3/4 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pt. (2 c.) sour cream
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly all dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening as if making a pie crust.
    Add sour cream.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Roll out dough; cut into biscuits.
    Place on a cookie sheet and freeze. Place frozen biscuits in bag and use as needed.
    When ready to bake, butter both top and bottom of biscuits.
    Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
    (The biscuits do not need to be thawed before baking.)
