Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 stick butter or margarine
    1/2 c. milk
    grated rind of one orange (not absolutely necessary)
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    2 to 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    additional 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine all the ingredients except for the lemon juice and the additional 1/2 cup sugar and pour into ungreased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Then, mix 2 to 3 tablespoons of lemon juice with 1/2 cup sugar and pour over the finished baked cake.
    Put back into the oven for 8 minutes more.
