Almond Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. chopped almonds
Preparation
    Mix all but flour, baking soda and almonds together well, then incorporate the dry ingredients into the first mixture.
    Batter will be very stiff.
    Roll into 2 long rolls, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
    Wrap in wax paper.
    Chill in refrigerator overnight. Slice 3/4-inch thick slices; place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
