Ingredients

1 1/4 c. melted shortening or 2 1/2 sticks melted butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. walnuts
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Add together shortening, sugar and brown sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla, flour, soda, baking powder and salt; mix well.
Add oatmeal, chocolate chips, walnuts and coconut.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
