Bishop'S Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, chopped
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine eggs and sugar.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add to egg mixture.
    Stir in dates, cherries, chocolate chips and pecans.
    Pour batter into two well-greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until done.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove and cool completely.
    Let stand overnight before serving.
