Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    4 to 5 diced bananas (overly ripe)
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Stir in bananas and nuts, then flour, baking soda and salt.
    Spread in greased loaf pan.
    Bake for 55 minutes.
