Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. flour
    5 egg yolks, beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small can coconut
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    5 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and shortening.
    Add egg yolks.
    Sift flour and soda; add to creamed mixture along with buttermilk and vanilla.
    Fold in egg whites, nuts and coconut.
    Pour into 3 (8-inch) pans or 2 square pans.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
