3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. regular sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 egg whites
1/3 c. water
2 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Cream brown sugar, sugar, margarine and vanilla.
Beat in egg whites.
Gradually beat in dry ingredients.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Lightly grease sheets and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen cookies with 4 grams fat vs. 7 grams of fat.
