Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. raisins, washed
2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. boiling water
2 eggs
1 stick margarine
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
-
In a large bowl
mix
raisins, baking soda, water, eggs and margarine; gradually
add
flour, sugar, vanilla, salt and nuts. Bake in 3 greased
and
floured
1 pound coffee cans or tube pan. Fill coffee cans half full.
Use all batter in tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
