Cheesy Cabbage And Apple Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (1 lb.) head cabbage, thinly sliced
1 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
1/2 c. sliced green onions
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/2 tsp. fennel seed, crushed
4 medium apples, coarsely chopped
4 oz. Cheddar cheese, cubed
Preparation

Combine cabbage, celery and green onions in large bowl; mix well.
Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, white pepper and fennel seed in small bowl.
Add to cabbage mixture; mix well. Chill, covered, for 2 to 3 hours.
Add apples and cheese cubes; toss to mix.
Yield:
12 servings.
