Hickory Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 egg, beaten slightly
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 c. hickory nuts, chopped
Preparation
    One stick margarine may be substituted for butter.
