Ingredients

1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 1/4 c. flour
Brandy Buttercream (recipe follows)
1/4 c. orange marmalade
powdered sugar
Preparation

Beat butter, sugar, egg yolk and orange rind in small mixer bowl at high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add flour to butter mixture; beat at medium speed just until thoroughly mixed.
Shape dough into ball; refrigerate wrapped in plastic wrap 1 hour.
