Easy Sugar Cut-Out Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix butter and both sugars until smooth.
    Add egg and mix well.
    Add flour; mix well.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Roll dough into ball; put in refrigerator overnight in airtight container.
    Using floured rolling pin, roll dough out on floured surface.
    Roll into 1/4 inch thick.
    Cut into shapes with cutters.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Cool and decorate.
    Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
